Food Review: "J. Alexander's"

A lot of people get intimidated at the mention of the name J. Alexander's. PLEASE STOP! It certainly possesses an upscale and contemporary flair, but we advise you to leave the intimidation at home. The address is 2670 N Germantown Pkwy, Memphis, TN. Enter the large front doors with an open mind and check the menu where the prices range from $6 t0 $32. At the right of the entrance is a huge bar with flowing cocktails and wine selections. At the front counter, a sweet hostess greets you while another takes you to your seat. Service is awesome. Marteena finished her entree, the "Hyde Park" burger before pictures could be taken. Not a surprise! Luckily, I took pictures of my dinner. I ate a club sandwich with fries and an order of the delicious oven baked mac'n cheese. Marteena ordered a desert known as the "Very Best Chocolate Cake" and the name does it justice.
