Food Review: "Locals Restaurant & Bar"

We arrived in the city of Oxford, MS. While walking on the square, we located Locals Restaurant & Bar at 309 North Lamar Blvd. This spot is a cool modern restaurant with kind servers and quality food. We ordered the shrimp and grits brunch special. It was delectable from start to finish. The entree was creamy and seasoned to perfection. The service was fast and efficient. There was also a $3 mimosa special that Marteena indulged in. The atmosphere was very pleasant as soul music spilled from the speakers. Diners, young and old, were welcomed by a kind smile from the hostess. We had the chance to meet the new executive chef Roland Schnider. We will definitely visit again and you should too.
