Food Review: "Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken"

FINGER-LICKING-GOOD...that about sums up the entire experience. Today, we were on the hunt for Sunday dinner and we selected "Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken." We chose the location of 730 S Mendenhall, Memphis, TN. The restaurant has a small dining area with wooden tables and chairs and picnic-style tablecloths. Don't let the appearance fool you, because the food is out of this world. We dined on hot and spicy chicken with a variety of sides such as collard greens, slaw, mac 'n cheese, and baked beans at unbeatable prices. The chicken was juicy and moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Fresh food, fast service, and great hospitality are what makes this spot wonderful.
